First meeting in 2019
The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 9 January
2019. We will discuss preferences for a venue in 2019. Please attend the

Sate – fully satisfy
Mille fleur - a thousand flowers
Rummer – large drinking glass
Cornucopia – an abundant supply
Salicin – bitter crystalline substance obtained from willow
bark
Elixir – a magical or medicinal potion, a particular type of
medicinal solution
The three writers were satisfied as they wrote about - My
beauty receptors, I brewed the elixir and drunk he was.
Reading of homework
The writers did not fully embrace the fan fiction technique
and wrote about - Keep the fan fanning, Dracula & the stake and Little Red
Riding Hood.
The writers investigated the topic and wrote stories and
poems about - Not my kind of person, Kicking the dog and Something that she
ate.
Homework
Let’s try fan fiction again. As a fan rewrite your favourite
story featuring characters from a particular TV series, film etc
