Leonie No news.

Mandy Sold 8 books on line and is boasting about it. She also bought a new swimming costume.

Di No big news just settling in her new home.

David R Bought a new sofa to have downstairs for when he has his hip replacement done. He also has taken to writing limericks in the middle of night. They were very rude. But he said he only wrote two the rest were off the internet. Naughty Irishmen he reckons.

Geoff Showed us a book of poems by Peter Bakowski and he read one of his winning poems. Portrait of Leonard Drisdall. It told a story very interesting.

Eva. She has a new man in man in her life and  it is blocking up her emails. She met him on line and wants to meet him soon in person. We all advised her to be careful.

David. His CLEAN word of the day.de ja vu a feeling of having already experienced something. From French word meaning already seen.

Terry. To Coin. To invent a word or a phase.

Geoff has invented  a word called Interlogue as he wanted to put a words meaning in the middle of the story. Very clever.

We did an exercise set by Jo with words made up from different set letters.

Homework.

A child moves into a new house and the others tell her it is haunted. She makes up stories and the more she tells the more she is frightened.

The meeting ended with the usual laughter and friendship.
