Cologne – fragrance

Oof – money or wealth
Farl – thin piece of oat cake

Impoverish – poor, exhaust
Mellifluous – pleasing voice, dulcet

Chaos – complete disorder and confusion
Delicacy – dainty or luxurious, tender, easily harmed

Slush, slosh – Thawing snow, thin, mud, silly sentiment

Writing from words of the day
The writers grabbed the words of the day like they were wealth and created stories about - The French President, Before he entered the room, I moved in darkness and In the school grounds.

Reading of homework
Three writers read their homework on planning writing a novel in a year on the topics - I write best in the mornings, The blue dress and I’m in it for the fun.

Exercise – six characters

The writers wrote about the six characters in some amusing situations - The French Foreign Legion, Robbing a bank, What a day and Slug on Lettuce.

Exercise - Spoiled rotten

The writers listed six rotten things found in fridges and wrote about - Nightmares of a defrosted freezer, I will slash my wrist, Many things dead and I’m throwing it out.

Start work on the first or second chapter of your novel.
